Hailey Becker (LinkedIn) served as Chief of Staff for the Asia Bureau at the U.S. Agency for International Development from 2022 to 2025, where she supported regional strategy and oversaw bureau operations. Prior to USAID, she was a Research Assistant on the Senate Armed Services Committee, focusing on Taiwan and integrated deterrence strategies in the Indo-Pacific.

Earlier in her career, Hailey was an Executive Policy Associate at the Center for American Progress, where she implemented cross-organizational strategies, staffed senior leadership, and conducted research on labor and government reform. She also interned at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, contributing to legislative advocacy and government affairs.

Hailey holds a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science, with a minor in Latin American Studies, from the University of Florida.
